Charles Eugene Lambert, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 8, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of the late James and Zula Lambert. Charles will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sandra (Burris) Lambert, with whom he shared so many beautiful years.

Charles was a proud veteran, serving a decade in the United States Navy and then dedicating another 14 years to the United States Army. After his military service, he embraced life with an insatiable curiosity and a passion for artistry. Known for his incredible talent, Charles loved painting exquisite designs on eggs of all sizes, from ostrich to chicken eggs. His creativity extended to various crafts, and he often delighted friends and family with his artistic endeavors. An adventurous spirit, he also enjoyed flying helicopters, cherishing every moment in the air. He had a remarkable gift for telling stories, captivating everyone who had the pleasure of listening.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra Lambert; children, Tony Lambert, Gina (Chris) Kanakaris, Matt (Kim) Lambert, and Tim (Sheila) Lambert and step-daughter Brandy Hobbs; along with his cherished grandchildren, Raegan Lambert, Ryan Kanakaris, Lauren Kanakaris, Jordan Lambert, Bryson Lambert, Mira Lambert, and Hazel Lambert; and his step-brother, Craig (Barbara) Lambert. He will also be greatly missed by an extended family and friends that he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Jerry Lambert and Barbara Seeley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
