Carolyn S. Sisson

Carolyn S. Sisson, 68, Cape Coral, Florida passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Ft. Meyers, Florida following an extended illness.She was born December 10, 1953, in Elwood, Indiana to John "Jack" Ackerman and Betty (Troutman) Ackerman.Carolyn graduated from Lapel High School in 1971. She worked for Hamilton Southeastern School System for several years.Carolyn was a member of the Jehovahs Witness Kingdom Hall in Cape Coral. She enjoyed her time in Florida and sewing.She is survived by her husband Phillip Sisson of Cape Coral; daughter, Amanda (Josh) Wheeler of Lapel; mother, Betty Ackerman of Lapel; sister, Amelia (John) Milner of Pendleton; granddaughter, Cicely Wheeler. Carolyn is also survived by her nephew, Chris Milner.Carolyn was preceded in death by her father.A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home 1010 N.
