Carl B. Scott

Carl B. Scott, Pendleton, Indiana passed away August 18, 2026 at Fall Creek Retirement Village in Pendleton. He was a kind and thoughtful man. He was born October 16, 1927 in Shelburn, Indiana to Roy and Florence Scott.

He joined the United States Navy and served during WW II as a metal worker. He later served in the United States Naval Reserve. He retired as a Sheetmetal Journeyman at Delco Remy plant of General Motors.

When he was younger, he enjoyed playing golf, bowling, gardening and making wrought iron furniture. He enjoyed watching golf, football and FOX News and had strong conservative Values throughout his life. He also enjoyed watching the ARMY NAVY game.

He was a loyal husband, caring father & Sweet Pa. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Tennessee, Texas, Michigan, Kentucky, Utah, California and throughout the East Coast.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 50 years Betty J. Scott; sons, Jeffrey Scott and Chris Norris; grandson, Nicholas Norris; brothers, Doane Scott and Bob Scott; and special dog Tugger.

He leaves two daughters, Cinda Scott and Robin Norris; and two sons Joe Scott and Terry Scott & family; grandchildren Valerie, Michael, Jon, Christy, Becky, Ryan, Sarah, Amy, Josie, Joe Bob, Ashley and Jon Tom; 32 great grandchildren; and 7 great- great grandchildren; brothers- in-law, Harold Cantrell and Harmon Cantrell; nephew, Donnie Scott & family; many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly; and his dog, Chica.

He also leaves his Final Chapter Family at Fall Creek Retirement Village in Pendleton, Indiana: Nurses, CNAs, Therapists, Activity Staff, Dining Staff, Housekeeping and fellow residents where he enjoyed music, going to therapy with Mackenzie, Meghan and Uman and walking around building socializing with his daughter & buddy, Robin.

Special thanks to his Ascension Physicians, Dr. George Agapios & Dr. Chad Feldman, as well as Rawlins House Rehab in Pendleton, Brenda and Caroline and Luminary Hospice of Carmel, and RN Stephanie and Chaplain Ken for their special kindness.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana with Pastor Joe Roysden officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the funeral home.

Military honors will be conducted by the Daleville American Legion and the United States Navy.
