Bryan Scott Pardue, 54, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1971, in Anderson to Roy Clem and Catherine Sue (Sparks) Pardue. Kathy married Michael Lee Pardue and Bryan was adopted by Mike shortly after. He grew up in Madison County and graduated from Anderson High School in 1989.
He joined the United States Air Force and received numerous medals and commendations for his achievements. His admirable service was recognized when he received the Air Force's Airman of the Year award and received his ribbon from former president George H.W. Bush at a ceremony at the White House.
During the final years of his military service, Bryan and a a civilian friend started a computer networking business called Novation. Together they wrote computer programs and computer networks in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska.
In 2002, Bryan chose to move back to Alexandria to be closer to his family. In 2008, he moved his family to Anderson where he worked tirelessly to remodel the family home.
Bryan was a member of and past master of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #77 F&AM. He was currently a Tyler at Mount Moriah. He was a member of the Knights of the Templar at Mount Moriah.
His passion was his rocks. He was a lapidarist. He loved to find, cut and polish rocks. He would make them into beautiful jewelry pieces. He also love to collect lighters, gragons and skeletons.
He loved to support his wife, Suzie, in many of her community volunteer organizations. Bryan was a caretaker. It is what he did. His home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay or an ear to listen. He was always there to say something you needed to hear or just to be there. He was a kind, generous and patient man. But most of all, he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, his friends and the Anderson community. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Suzie (Apedaile) Pardue; his children, Jon-Michael (Katherine) Pardue of Anderson and Eris Kari (Terra Larson) Pardue of Illinois; three grandchildren, Waverly, Astoria and Calliope; his father, Michael Pardue; a brother, Brad Clem of Georgia; two sisters, Krystal Clem of Georgia and Summer Pardue of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz- Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. Masonic rites conducted by Mount Mariah Masonic Lodge #77 F& AM will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM.
