Brenda Sue Partain

Brenda Sue (Lawson) Partain, 70, of Anderson, peacefully passed away on December 24, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1955, in Anderson, to the late Ralph Edward and Gloria Rosalee (Shaw) Lawson. Throughout her life, Brenda embraced various work opportunities, with her most recent position at a local laundromat in Anderson, where her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Brenda was attending Florida Station Church of God. Despite her struggles with illness, her spirit remained strong, and she cherished the moments spent with her beloved family, who were the center of her world.

She is survived by her partner, Dennis Partain; her brother, Ralph Eugene Lawson; and her cherished nephews and niece, Devin (Bridget) McClasky, Paul (Brenda) Partain, Sean Partain, and Angela (Brian) Humphrey. Brenda also leaves behind her aunt, Cindy Castor, and her uncles, Rick Shaw and Jeff (Mary) Shaw.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bonita West.

A graveside service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12 PM at Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, IN. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their love and memories as they honor a remarkable woman whose kindness and warmth will be deeply missed.

Brenda's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel.
