Brady Blu Milam

Brady Blu Milam, a beloved son, father, and brother, passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 51. Blu was born on May 8, 1974 in Anderson to Robert "Bob" Milam and Elizabeth "Liz" (Peek) Milam. Blu graduated from Rockdale High School in Rockdale, TX in 1992. Shortly after, he and his father began their own landscaping business called Mid-State Landscaping and the two of them worked together for years. Blu was working as the irrigation manager for Blue Grass Farms, where he and Bob would get many of their plants and trees for their landscaping company. His coworkers quickly became his friends and then in turn became Blu's family. Blu loved the outdoors, landscaping and working with his hands. He was a black belt in Taekwondo and adored his fur babies, Taz and Wednesday. Most importantly, he loved his daughters fiercely and was so proud of their accomplishments.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sierra and Serenity Milam; former wife, April Milam; mother, Liz Milam; sister, Heidi (Josh) Behm; nephew and niece, Aiden and Grace Behm; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob; maternal grandparents, J.C. Peek and Ruth Peek; and paternal grandparents, Lee Milam and Martha (Jack) Shores.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will take place in the spring. Blu's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
