Bonnie Jo Rediker Whitehead

Bonnie Jo (Rediker) Whitehead, 81, of Anderson, passed away on September 20, 2026. Bonnie was born on September 12, 1945 in Anderson to the late John and Elsie (Wier) Tolbert. After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, George Rediker, until his passing.

Bonnie had one of the toughest jobs around, she was a homemaker. She loved 4H, specifically Madison County 4H where she enjoyed watching the horses and ponies. She collected Mary Moo Moo figurines and had quite a collection of them. Bonnie enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, sewing, and baking. More importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, John Rediker, Sheila (Barry) McCorkle, and Rebecca "Becky" Shull; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jared) Johnson, Jessica (Tyler) Gohn, John (Rebbecca) Shull, Nicole (David) Holland, Heather (Jake) Shull, Chase (Morgan) McCorkle, and Brittany (Trevor) Hiatt; her great-grandchildren, Alivia, Tygar, Tysan, Ella, Elaina, Helix, Carol, Raymond, Remington, Robert, and Colton; her great-great-granddaughter, Paisley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and three sisters, Donna Mesalam, Linda Judd, and Billie Simmonds.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, 46013. A funeral ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery following the funeral.
