Beverly Sue Hildreth

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Sue Hildreth, aged 80, who left this world on November 17, 2025. Born on January 27, 1945, in Parker City, Indiana, to the late John H. and Marian G. (Hobbs) Hildreth.

Beverly graduated from Parker High School in 1963 and furthered her education at Porter Business College in Indianapolis. She dedicated her professional life to working in the registrar office at Ball State University, where she worked from 1969 to 2007. Her commitment to education and helping others was evident throughout her career.

A lifelong resident of Parker City, Indiana, Beverly was a faithful member of the Parker City United Methodist Church for an impressive 59 years. She served in various church roles including singing in the choir and helping track church financial giving. Her deep faith was a guiding force in her life, and she nurtured her community with love and kindness. A proud member of the Psi Iota Xi sorority, Chapter Eta Iota, Beverly cherished her sisters and their friendships.

Beverly was especially known for her incredible baking skills and her talent for decorating cakes, which brought joy to countless celebrations. In addition, she enjoyed selling Avon products and spent many hours knitting.

Beverly is survived by her beloved niece, Rebecca (husband, Stephon) Wasio; nephews, John L. Hildreth and Kevin Hale and numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Richard "Dick" Hildreth, Mary Hildreth, and Judith Hale.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sugar Fork Crossing and Paradigm Health Hospice for their wonderful care and attention to Beverly throughout her final months and years here on earth.

Visitation for Beverly will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM at Parker City United Methodist, 305 S Main St, Parker City, IN 47368. Burial will take place in Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie. Beverly's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
