Betty E. Mcintyre

Betty E. (Stephens) McIntyre, 91, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. She was born on December 29, 1925 in Anderson, and has been a lifelong resident. Betty, along with her husband, S.B., owned and operated B & B Jewelry in Anderson. She was a member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene for many years. Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, S.B. McIntyre of Anderson; children, Steve (Jude) McIntyre, and Connie (Ed) Roberts, both of Anderson; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and several special nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Violet (Comer) Stephens, brother, Gerald Stephens, and a son, Bruce McIntyre. A special thank you to the extended family for prayers and support including the second floor nursing staff at Community Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013, with Pastors Tom Chapman and Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
