Bertha C. Reeder

Bertha C. Reeder, 97, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Middletown. She was born July 25, 1923 in Carter County, Kentucky. Bertha worked a variety of jobs, but her favorite was working as a seamstress for several retail stores. Bertha is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiliam K. & Carrie (Jessee) Reeder; siblings, Arthur (wife, Bessie) Reeder, Lawrence Reeder, Floyd James, Atha Reeder (husband, Bill) Ruley, Stella Cleo Reeder Glover, Edna (husband, Harve) Reeder Holbrook, & Violet Reeder. Private arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Her final resting place will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
