Ms. Beatrice Sailes

Beatrice Sailes, 96, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020. She was born April 29, 1924, in Birmingham, Alabama. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Lulu Mae Bass; grandchildren, Rosa L. Hodgkins, Regina M. Streaty, Merleana Harrison, Anthony Lawrence, Daniel Lawrence, Sylvia Moore, Talana Fynbo, & Tina Bass; a host of great grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Sailes; parents, Andrew Jackson & Lulu (Graham) Wheeler; and son, Denny Varner; siblings, Virginia Hiatt, Rosetta McDuffy, Pauline Scruggs, Ethel Mae Moore, & Willie Wheeler. Arrangements were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial was at East Maplewood Cemetery.
