Barbara White

Barbara White, 84, of Anderson went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2025. Barbara was born on August 31, 1940 in Paynesville, West Virginia to the late Wilburn H. and Lady Bell (Rowe) Cantrell. She married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" White, and the two were married for 58 years before his passing in 2024. Barbara worked at Guide Lamp for a total of 32 years, 12 years on an assembly line and 20 years as QAQC. She enjoyed reading, sewing, telling stories, talking on the phone, gardening, playing cards with friends and family, Bingo, shopping, and baking. She had a feisty sense of humor and loved her grandchildren fiercely.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her son, Brent White; grandchildren, Allison White, Taylor White, Bruin (Abree) White, Hudson White, and Brooklyn White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Leonard Cantrell, Ella Belle Jones, Wilburn Cantrell, Jr., Otis Cantrell, Noah Cantrell, Alexander Cantrell, Wilson Cantrell, and James Cantrell.

The visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery. Barbara's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
