Ms. Barbara Ellen Ramsey

Barbara Ellen Ramsey, 83, of Anderson, passed away January 30, 2017 at Community Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Eaton on July 21, 1933 to the late John and Mable (Lipscomb) Wechsler. She had lived in Anderson most of her life and was a retired beautician. She is survived by her son, Ken (Carolene) Ramsey of Kodak, TN; her daughter, Terry Ramsey of Anderson; her son, Bobby Ramsey of Alexandria; six grandchildren, Trinity Ramsey Cate, Kenny (Karen) Ramsey, Bobby (Kim) Ramsey, Ryan (Shelby) Ramsey, Randy Ramsey and Christy (Matt) Goen; twelve great grandchildren, Tara, Haley, Kenny, Bryce, Holly, Bobby, Mason, Anna, Kade, Lucas, Isabella and Addison; her brother, William (Karen) Wechsler of Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Wechsler and Danny Wechsler; sister, Judy Bledsoe. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
