It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy Lozano, 55, of Anderson, Indiana, who left us on June 11, 2026. Born on October 14, 1970, in Warsaw, Indiana, to the late Neville and Anita (Wills) Dickerson, Amy's spirit was as vibrant as they come. Known to her loved ones as a firecracker, mud hen, sassy and had a spark about her, she was a force of nature who touched the lives of everyone around her.
Amy studied at Ivy Tech and dedicated herself to caring for others as a CNA, demonstrating her thoughtful and compassionate nature daily. Music played a big role in her life, with an appreciation for rap, jazz, and R&B that always kept the good vibes flowing. A true Libra, she passionately dove into everything she did-especially when it came to helping animals or being there for friends and family. She unconditionally loved everyone she came in contact with; while working, friends and loved ones. She was a free spirit that could not be tamed, by the world around her. She was touched by nature and kept herself spiritually open. Her love for dancing and singing showed she didn't care who watched as long as she had fun. Above all else family mattered more than life itself.
She is survived by her husband, Monty Lozano, her children Jeremy Dickerson, Katelynn Lozano, and Nathan Patterson, her brother William Dickerson, her sister Lisa (Doug) Carroll, and her beautiful grandchild, Atlas Crull, as well as special friend, Michael Harris, Leaving behind a host of family and friends including several cousins, nieces and nephews. Amy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Scott Dickerson.
Amy's bright spark will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire.Arrangements have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
