Alda Eileen Leakey

Alda Eileen Leakey, 99, passed away March 4, 2015.

She was born June 25, 1915, in Andrews to the late John R. Isenbarger & Pearl Marie (Mater) Schoenauer. Alda worked as the department manager of women’s & children’s clothing at J.C. Penney & F.W. Woolworth. She was a member of Central Christian Church.

Alda is survived by her daughter, Christine Leakey; sisters-in-law, Jean Leakey and Gwen Lakey; special friend, Maxine Fulton; extended family members, Dick (wife, Jane) Leakey; special nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Russell W. Leakey; brother, John E. Isenbarger; brothers-in-law, Lawrence (wife, Jean) Lakey, Dale Leakey, and Roger (Elaine) Lakey.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Doug Friedersdorf officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Noon until time of services at the funeral home
