Albert Joseph "Joe" Reed

Albert Joseph "Joe" Reed, age 61, of Wilkinson, passed away peacefully at his home on November 30, 2025, after an extended illness.

Joe was born on April 21, 1964, in Danville, Indiana, to Kenneth and Mary Ruth (Williams) Reed. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1982 and later owned and operated his trucking business until his retirement.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Joe enjoyed keeping his semi in pristine condition, weightlifting, and spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, and four-wheeling. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Roberts) Reed of Wilkinson; his mother, Mary Ruth Reed; his children, Amanda (Mark) Hauenstein of Martinsville, Jessica Reed of Greenwood, and Daniel Reed of Richmond; his stepson, Brian (Sanela) Johnson of Kentucky; his brothers, Patrick (Christy) Reed of Martinsville and Donnie (Nicole) Reed of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Easton, Jaden, Amir, Ian, and Dylan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Reed.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Condo Chapel, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN. A time for family sharing will begin at 2:00 p.m.
